Rebuilding with Living Wage Places
HOW CAN GOOD WAGES BE AT THE HEART OF THE RECOVERY OF LOCAL ECONOMIES?

Join us on the 10th November 2020 from 10 - 11 am to discuss the challenges of local areas post-Covid as they deal with the decline of high streets and the need for higher wages to underpin local recovery.

This event will showcase the work being done to create better places through the creation of Living Wage Buildings, Zones, Cities and Boroughs, hear from a high street-based Living Wage employer, and consider a range of approaches to put fair work at the heart of local recovery.
We'll be launching a video telling the story of Salford's Living Wage Place journey.

Our speakers have been involved in embedding the real Living Wage in their local areas and will talk about the opportunities and challenges involved.

This online webinar will include a panel discussion, Q&A and interactive polls. It will be of interest to anyone involved in creating more inclusive local economies, those working to create Living Wage Places across the UK, councils, local anchor institutions and high street employers.
Confirmed speakers include:

- Jamie Hepburn: Scottish Government Minister for Fair Work, Business and Skills

- Andrew Cribb: Living Wage Building manager, International House, Brixton

- Nalin Seneviratne: Director, City Centre Development, Sheffield City Council

- Karen Bates, People Director, Brewdog

- Peter Allan, Community planning manager, Dundee Council
