The real Living Wage: What is it and why does it matter?
Heard about the Living Wage and want to know more? Want to know how it’s calculated? Interested in implementing higher wages across your organisation but not sure how? Want to know what benefits it could have for your business? Want to know the difference between the National Living Wage and real Living Wage?

Join us online on Monday 15th November, 4-5pm to find out more.

This webinar is for employers from any sector who want to learn more about the real Living Wage. We will be covering how the rates are calculated, how accreditation works, and what it could mean for your organisation, your staff and your local community.

We will be welcoming a diverse panel of speakers from across the private, public and third sectors, alongside representatives from the TUC and the Resolution Foundation, to bust some myths about the Living Wage, provide you with a space to ask questions, and to support you on your journey towards becoming part of the Living Wage movement.

Who’s on the panel?

The event will be hosted by CEO of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, Patrick O’Meara and the panel includes: Gavin Kelly (Chair of the Resolution Foundation and the Living Wage Commission), Kate Bell (Head of Rights, International, Social and Economics at the TUC, Jenny Baskerville, Head of Inclusion, Diversity and Social Equality at KPMG), Charlotte Tickle (People and Culture Director at Riverford Organic Vegetables), Sarah Hopkins (Executive Director at Cynnal Cymru), Kate Wallace Lockhart, (Head of Social Impact at SSE and Chair of the Living Wage Scotland Leadership Group), John Paxton (Cardiff Council), Carla Harris-Tait (Kennel assistant and canine first aid trainer who works for Edinburgh Dogs and Cats Home), David Tracey (Managing Director of Manorview Hotels and Leisure Group).
