Electric vehicles are extremely speedy and have very impressive acceleration. Range is already good and improving all the time. Adoption of EVs by the TVP would be a great step forward.

The production of the MCCD is now controlled by the Med examiner producing the certificate for registration of death ...this some time involves the coroner and the need for post mortem .. so though no one wants a delay there are procedures to follow.

Absolutely. Having grown up Muslim and having taught at a Modern Orthodox Jewish school, I'm passionate about streamlining death registration so that when it is central to one's faith that loved ones are buried within 24 hours (or as close to that as possible) that has to be expedited. People are in deep grief, they don't need the added pain of having to go against their faith or needing to bury their loved one further away to fulfil religious obligations and then be unable to visit regularly.

Weekend burial facilities are long overdue and really it should not take a large campaign for the residents to have this facility

There's a clear difference between equality and equity. Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome. We only ask to for the opportunity to properly practice our religion

Milton Keynes is often promoted as being modern and diverse with great facilities and amenities for its residents and visitors. Such a change would undoubtedly benefit all residents and be warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated by the many faith groups in our wonderfully diverse city.

How can evidence be provided if stats are not kept on religous beliefes at the time of registration???

Babies don't announce their arrivals into this world and the deceased cannot announce their departure. We need to ensure we make provision for both. This pandemic should also highlight the importance of processing the deceased as soon as possible.

My children didn't have to meet up with the police in order to trust them. I taught them that as a parent. I know things have changed, but I think it's the parents who have the greatest influence over their family.

our campaign is to help the MK community regardless of their belief or creed and we are happy to work with policy holders to cater for all communities regardless of the out of hours charges that we feel are punitive to bury the loved ones in a timely manner without any delays or hinderance.
